The Athena Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts and education in the San Francisco Bay Area and in developing nations.

Education
The Athena Project supports and promotes the advancement of education in low-income areas in the San Francisco Bay Area and in developing nations. Grants are given to schools for developing scholarships for needy children and for materials and supplies. Our purpose is to increase equality of opportunity in education and, in the case of developing nations, to also engender goodwill towards the United States.

You can help disadvantaged children at home and around the world by making a tax-deductible donation or by becoming a volunteer.

The Arts
We believe that a vibrant, self sufficient, arts community is vital to the well being of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our aim is to help artists share their creativity with the community at large and to support themselves through their art. To that end, The Athena Project provides grants and a variety of support and development services for qualified individuals.

Art lovers should visit our local artists Gallery. If you want to be a Patron to the arts and make a significant impact on the arts community, please make a tax-deductible donation or become a volunteer.
